You need a winding product or system, but you don’t know how to choose it?
Here are some key elements to help you define your product.

Which product do you need?

Transformer: Device consisting of two or more windings, designed to lower or raise the voltage of an electric current flowing through a network. It also provides galvanic isolation to change the neutral operating mode. It can be single or three-phase.

Three-to-single phase transformer: Transformer with a three-phase primary voltage and a single-phase secondary voltage. It improves the balancing of the grid but it is not perfect and leads to a 20% - 60% - 20% distribution on the three phases.

Autotransformer: electrical transformer in which the primary and secondary windings share common parts. If you only require a change of voltage, without isolation or modification of the neutral operating mode, this is what you need!

Inductor: Device consisting of a winding with several turns. Its aim is to store current in an electromagnetic form and to deliver it continuously.

DC Power supply: Set of systems that provide electricity to downstream devices. It enables the supply of a direct voltage.

Integrated system: complete function, often designed to specifications, such as for instance a radio-controlled cabinet or a ventilation system.

How to choose your housing protection for your products?

It is essential to choose the degree of protection according to the intended use (e.g. in an electrical cabinet or outdoors).

The IP code is an international standard that defines the level of protection that a material offers against solid and liquid intrusion. The first number refers to the degree of protection against solids and the second number to the degree of protection against liquids.
